<h3>Admission</h3>
<p>School Prospectus with the application form for registration along with one set of sample papers can be obtained by sending Rs 120/- by Cash/PO/DD on PNB, Dagshai payable at Dagshai or any other bank at Chandigarh. Admissions are on the basis of the written entrance test held on 3rd Sunday in February at various centers. No child can be considered for admission test unless he/she has been registered. </p>

<p>The normal entry points for admission are classes V, VI, VII, VIII &amp; IX. Admission to higher classes depends upon the availability of the vacancies. </p>

<p>APS Dagshai is first school in India who is having Automatic weather station (AWS) and Respirable Dust Sample (RDS) is installed in collaboration with GB Pant Institute of Himalayan and Development(Autonomous Institure of Ministry of Environment and Forest)</p>

<p>The school campus covers an area of approximately 40 acres. The main academic and administrative buildings of the school form a hollow square with offices on one side. The classrooms are designed to accommodate 32 to 35 students. State of the art computer and science laboratories are housed in spacious and well-designed large rooms. </p>
<p>A well-stocked library-cum-reading serves as a haunt for those who crave for intellectual nourishment and information of all kind. The expansive campus, a large playing field and the beautiful school buildings provide an environment, which is aesthetically pleasing and conducive to both work and play. The residential wing houses boys and girls comfortably in separate buildings. Girls&#8217; dormitories, along with common rooms, are located in a healthy and serene environment with proper security arrangements. <p>Dr. R.M. Alagappa Chettiar founded the “Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering &amp; Technology” and Dr. Rajendra Prasad started and laid the foundation of main buildings from the year 21st July 1952. After 1966 the college was became under Government of “Tamil Nadu”. First Electronics and Communication Engineering Course introduced from the year 1969, M.E. in Microwave and Optical Engineering started in the year 1983, M.C.A were introduced in the year 1988 and B.E. Degree course in Computer Science and Engineering in the year 2001. From the academic year 2002-2003 P.G courses started in different field.</p>

<p>The “Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering &amp; Technology”, (ACCET) the important educational college is located at “Karaikudi” in “Tamil Nadu”.<br />
The college has been recognized as an important research Institute with twenty-five research scholars.<br />
The College main campus on the northern side is “Alagappa Polytechnic” and “Alagappa college of Physical education” and “Central Electro-Chemical Research Institute (CECRI)” and “Alagappa University” on the southern side.<br />
They offered P.G. Course on M.E. Optical Communication, M.E. Computer Aided Design, M.E. Manufacturing Engineering, M.E. Structural Engineering, M.E. Environmental Engineering, M.E. The engineering college of Barkatullah University was started in the year August 1997 as College of Engineering and Chakravarti Rajgopalachari Institute of Management in 1979.<br />

5. Psychological counseling House – To solving student’s personal problems it works effectively.<br />
6. Transportation – The University has its own transportation facility for students and employees.<br />
7. Minority cell - University has a minority-coaching cell to provide coaching facilities to Minority.<br />
8. University computer House - It provides computation and data processing by computer to the university.<br />
9. University Library – The Library contains 71,259 books, 5,703 thesis and sixty Sanskrit M.S.S.<br />
10. University science instrumentation: Its main purpose is to facility of major equipment and service for maintenance of equipments.</p>

<p>The Baldwin Schools are named after their benefactor, a philanthropist, John Baldwin of Berea, Ohio, U.S.A., who had a vision, which saw him start six educational institutions, the last of which were the Baldwin Schools. Baldwin Boys High School was founded in the year 1880 and is one the oldest schools in <a href="http://freepedia.in/Bangalore">Bangalore</a>. The funding for the school was done by Hon&#8217;ble John Baldwin and was founded by the Methodist Episcopal Church. The schools was also know as the Episcopal Methodist School, took in boys as well as girls, also boarders.</p>
<p>Boarders were all treated as First Class, and lived with the Principal Rev. Ira A. Richards, B.A., and they ate at the same table. School hours were : in the cold weather, from 10 A.M. to 3.30 P.M.; and in the hot weather from 7 A.M. to 12 A.M. Christmas holidays were fixed fro 10th December to 10th January. The School in the late 1920&#8217;s was managed through a Board of Governors, of which the Resident Bishop of the Bangalore Area, the then Bishop B.T. Badley, D.D. was Chairman. The institution received a Government Grant-in-Aid and is annually inspected and reported on by the Government Inspector of Schools.</p>

<p>The Government of Maharashtra established the technical institute Government College of Engineering, of “Marathwada” region at “Aurangabad” in the year 1960. This college got an “A” graded technical distinction among colleges in the state of Maharashtra by the “Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai”. As the Institute is affiliated to “Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University” so they award college degrees. The institute campus in the “Osmanpura” area has buildings housing of 11 Departments, Laboratories, Workshop and Hostels for students.</p>
